In 1980, Ontario Conservatory of Music established a location in the quaint area of Streetsville, a vibrant area of Mississauga. We grew this location over almost three decades teaching tens of thousands of students. In 2016 we moved our Streetsville location around the corner to a 4000 square foot facility on Millcreek Drive. This new location allowed our student body to grow, and additional programs to be added. With parking lot access that allows you to drive right to our front door parents enjoy a quick break at one of our neighbouring restaurants.
We have pioneered many progressive music programs starting with Hawaiian Guitar, Accordion, Organ, and eventually Piano, Guitar, Drums, Violin, Voice, and also Pre-school music programs, Theory, History, Harmony, and many others. Ontario Conservatory of Music has fine tuned several private study lesson programs, and pioneered what has become the most popular method for music study today, group instruction. Young children through to teenagers and adults through group instruction learn faster, learn by comparison and learn to play in unison.
We have worked hard to become the staple of music education setting the standard for top quality teaching throughout Ontario for 80 years.
Having taught in Mississauga for 8 decades, chances are, if you studied music as a child, you studied with Ontario Conservatory of Music.
Our Millcreek Drive plaza location is on the corner of Millcreek & Aquitaine Avenue, across the street from the Meadowvale Go Station.
